Talon Elementary School outreach with my classmates.
Each section is given a chance to do an outreach to a specific level in the campus. We get do it only once a month, though. Exciting.
We waited under a “study center”. Then, when the 40 grade 5 students arrived, we got to pick our own partner for the entire school year to do some interaction with.
There were so many kids roaming around. And deep inside, it feels like they’re wishing that they were in our kids’ place. I wonder how they are at school… at home. How their lives are. Oh, I pity them so much. It touches my heart and melts it and makes it soft and all those other mushy stuff.
I must say, it was fun getting to know this girl named Rochelle. She is so cute and pretty, too. And sweet! She told me more about herself and her life, and I did too. She even called me pretty. :”> We all looked so adorable bonding with our own partners. Heehee. We bought them ice cream. And Marla played the violin for them. And everyone clapped their hands in awe.
We played some games to start with then we gave them food after. Cookies and spaghetti and soda. All those for only an hour. Time passed by too fast. I already miss Rochelle. And all the kids running around and playing with us. How I wish we could stay longer. I wish we could be with them even for once a week. It was so sad when they said their goodbyes, as if they want us to stay forever. :(
Oh well, see you soon! I shall buy you earrings when we meet again. How thoughtful. :”>
